A Curious Trekker Home Base
Welcome to my site, A CURIOUS TREKKER travel photography, tips and BLOG.
I am an American gal that has yearned to travel since, well, before the internet was cool (and we’ll just leave it at that). I’ve dived with sea lions in La Paz, Baja Sur and with sharks in the Caribbean; flown a hang-glider above the valleys of Puerto Rico; hiked along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in South America and walked atop a portion of the Great Wall in China.
Like the majority of you reading this, I save up vacation days for travel, then judiciously divvy them out over the course of a year—or two. That is why it is so important for me to do my research ahead of time. I want to make sure I have the best travel experience possible within my time, and money constraints.
Close behind my love for travel is my love of photography. Visit my ABOUT ME page for more on my philosophy behind both.
You’ll also want to check out my TRAVEL TIPS page. It provides links to sites and information that I have found, and still find helpful when preparing for each trip.
Then there is my online travel diary; alternately known as a Web log or Weblog (hence BLOG). Hopefully, you’ll find it a good resource that is also a pleasant read.
Everything contained within these pages is designed to entice you to follow in my “treks.” Or use the information to plan your own “trek” into your next adventure.
Follow me, and you too can become– A CURIOUS TREKKER
